FAQs

How often do I need to have them?

Ideally we like you to commit to 2 a week for 3 weeks. Then after that initial course once a month is what we class as maintenance to keep your results tip top!

No, Dermalux is LED Phototherapy using red, blue and near infrared light. It does not contain UV light which can damage skin tissue and cause sun tans.

Dermalux used light energy (think photosynthesis from your school days) to stimulate the skins natural healing processes and speeding up collagen production by stimulating the cells and giving them energy to work faster and harder, much like they do in young people but it slows down as we age. So this is why the Dermalux LED Phototherapy gives you that youthful glowy look.

No, its actually a very pleasant treatment. Much like laying on a beach with a gentle breeze!

Travel vaccines

Private Travel Vaccination Clinic

We offer a wide range of travel vaccinations at our pharmacy. If you need vaccinations for travel purposes or occupational health, we are well-placed to help you. Our travel vaccination pharmacists will take you through a consultation to establish your vaccination needs and requirements. We also offer antimalarials which can be dispensed at the same appointment.

Importance of Travel Vaccinations

Vaccinations are very important to protect yourself and your loved one from different infections. Also, for most travel insurance policies to be valid, you need to have done the recommended vaccinations. Some vaccinations have multiple doses so it’s important that you plan to have your vaccination in advance of your departure date, usually 6-8 weeks prior.

For some medicines, it can be in the patient’s interest to make sure the dose is taken by the person for whom it was intended. Pharmacists can supervise the consumption of a prescribed medicine when the patient comes to collect it from the pharmacy. While most examples of supervised consumption include methadone and other medicines used in the management of substance misuse, the service can also be used to help patients with mental health conditions or diagnosed with tuberculosis. Our team offer a non-judgmental, confidential service and can provide support and advice, including referral to specialist centres if appropriate
